I was really busy this day and was only able to squeeze one out. It's a good message though.

Bible Journaling - Day 11
I only did three on this day but they were very colorful and varied. I did it all with watercolor paints. I love the vibrant colors and contrasts between the warm colors of the flowers and text box on the cool aqua background.
This one was done with dry Derwent watercolor pencils. It was one of my favorites that I colored on this day because of it's autumn theme and fall is my favorite time of the year.
I like the country charm of this piece.

Bible Journaling - Day 10
I did quite a few today even though I was busy doing other things...
I wasn't happy with the way the shepherd's face turned out on this one, but I liked the rest.
Philippians 4:6
That's it for today...

Bible Journaling - Day 8
Today was a busy day of Bible Journaling. I did ten verses!
James 3:17
Psalm 98:1
I thought this was so clever to have the two yarn strands part of a DNA chain.
Luke 2:14
There is one more that I did, but part of the design is copyrighted and I can't use it so this is all I have for today.

Bible Journaling - Day 8
I thought it would be fun to use the Morton Salt girl for this verse. I used watercolor for this.
This was done with watercolors
I love the soothing color palette of this piece. Once again I used dry Derwent watercolor pencils.
I adapted this from a coloring page. I used dry Derwent coloring pencils.
Sorry the picture's a little blurry for this one. It's Eph. 6:11
I saw this on Pinterest and liked the style so much that I made my own version of it. I love the soft colors of aqua and light olive green. I used watercolors to paint it and a #.08 Micron black ink marker to draw it. I used a Dixie cup to make the circles by dipping them in paint and then pressing it on the page.
I adapted this from a coloring book page.
I copied the design from a bookmark template. I used dry Derwent colored pencils and created the font myself. I like this verse because it reminds me to never forget that it's ultimately Gods will and not mine that good things in my life occur and that when I'm praying for something it's important to include this very important sentence because it's all about how much I trust God to be in control of my life.
Well, that's it for this day...

Bible Journaling - Day 7
This design was drawn in the book of Esther. It was done with dry Derwent watercolor pencils, watercolors and a #8 Micron black pen for the detailing.
I'm fond of the story of Ruth. I thought I'd add a little humor to this one and since I'm a California girl what would be more fitting than a VW bug with a surfboard? This was done with watercolors.
I had to do a little research for this drawing because I had no idea what a Moabite woman would wear. Fortunately, there were several pictures on Google and I was able to get an idea. This was done using dry Derwent watercolor pencils and watercolors.
This drawing holds a special place in my heart because it is of my favorite little bird that we had on the mountain...the chickadee. This was done with Derwent watercolor pencils.
The verse is Matt 6: 26

Bible Journaling - Day 6
This is on the first page of my Bible. I'm really proud of how it turned out. The envelope represents what the Bible is...a love letter from God.
The next three pages are chapter headers. There isn't any Scripture on these pages.
